Tidak ada langkah awal untuk memulai, dan akhirnya anda kehilangan arah dan tujuan, kehilangan motivasi, kehilangan daya gerak, dan mulai mencari-cari sebuah gelombang semangat yang baru.
Sebuah inspirasi sebenarnya ditujukan untuk sebuah perubahan, tetapi tampaknya ada sesuatu di dalam diri kita yang akan secara otomatis menolak sebuah perubahan, karena perubahan dianggap sebagai sebuah ancaman dan secara tidak sadar kita akan menghindari dan tidak merasa nyaman akan sebuah perubahan.
Demikian juga kegagalan seseorang untuk belajar Bahasa Inggris, ada keinginan tetapi memulainya sangat sulit dan akhirnya memang anda tidak pernah mulai untuk belajar. Bagaimana solusinya?
Mengawali dengan tindakan kecil untuk sebuah perubahan besar adalah kunci sebuah perubahan, entah itu pola belajar, kebiasaan, dan lainnya.
Jika saat ini anda begitu malas untuk memulai belajar bahasa inggris, lakukan langkah-langkah kecil berikut ini.

1. Beli sebuah koran berbahasa inggris, atau sebuah kamus kecil, atau buku cerita tipis berbahasa Inggris.
2. Bawa buku / kamus tersebut ke mana-mana meskipun anda tidak membacanya. Letakkan di hadapan anda ketika sedang bekerja, belajar, atau memasak, dll. Anda tidak perlu memaksa diri untuk membacanya, cukup bawa saja buku/ kamus tersebut ke mana-mana.
3. Lakukan hal ini selama seminggu / sebulan sampai perubahan kecil berikutnya terjadi. Mungkin anda akan mulai membaca daftar isinya, mulai membaca kata pembukanya, mulai mengingat satu kata dll. Lakukan tanpa paksaan dan program, dimulai dengan langkah mudah : membawa buku/kamus bahasa Inggris ke mana-mana.

Dan anda akan melihat, bahwa secara tidak sadar anda mulai berubah, anda mulai belajar bahasa Inggris, dan mulai menyukainya. Mungkin juga anda akan lupa dengan artikel ini dan beberapa bulan atau tahun ke depan anda akan menemukan artikel ini kembali dengan kondisi yang berbeda, yaitu sudah melangkah untuk belajar, walaupun awalnya hanya langkah kecil, yaitu mulai membawa buku / kamus bahasa inggris ke mana-mana.
